Forget the rest of the world – What browser do you as an Australian Designer / Developer prefer?
Lets forget the rest of the world and internet broswer statistics for a minute.
We are very curious to know what internet browser(s) Aussie webmasters prefer.
1) When your designing / developing a website which browser do you intially design for?
2) What browser add-ons are your personal favourites for web design and development?
3) What do you think is the best browser available right now?
Would love to hear your comments on this.

Firefox for working and Opera for browsing.

Firefox without a doubt. So many excellent add-ons for web designers.
My second choice is Chrome, for when I just want to really quickly check something and I need something that loads up snappily.

As just a consumer of web content I’ll use Chrome for it’s speed and very basic but refined interface. But as a developer I’ll primarily use Firefox, but other browsers as well (obviously).

I primarily use Firefox with Firebug plugin and Web Developer Toolbar add-on for design / development.
For browsing, I’ve shifted to Chrome because it’s just a whole lot quicker on my chugged-down laptop at home. Firefox has been freezing of late when just browsing and I don’t get that with Chrome.

If you are a web developer there really is only one browser you want to use Firefox, good thing it is the best browser out there. Also as a developer I have to use all of them, on every platform even IE (Yuck).
@Laneth and they are the reasons, those plug-ins are #1 in development within the browser, I don’t know what I would do with out them.

I also prefer to browse with chrome, but when it comes to doing any sort of debugging, Firefox with firebug rocks. I try using chrome developer tools, but they’re just too cumbersome and slow you down.
